After a horribly traumatic and failed (in both arms) blood draw at the pediatrician on Monday we tried again at Children’s this morning. What. A. Difference! Eddie and Joe were phenomenal, got the vein on the first try, and were AMAZING with Benjamin. This stuff isn’t fun, but they made it bearable even by 6 year old standards. Hopefully we won’t need to do this again, but he told me we’ll NEVER have his blood taken anywhere else from now on 😊
The care is pretty good, but they charge an outrageous amount of money! The billing is horrible. It’s highway robbery. My son went in for breathing issues. The respiratory dr came in for approximately 4 minutes. We didn’t end up needing her services. $270 for not even 5 minutes. We were given a puff of an inhaler, a steroid and ibuprofen . The bill was well over 2,500 this didn’t include the doctors fees. It’s such a bummer. We will avoid children’s as much as we can.
The Staff are so helpful and kind. They love questions about what's going with our kid. and they love sharing everything they are saying and doing. They made my child feel safe. When my child asked questions they were happy to answer them in kid terms. They are amazing people I love this place for kids.
Nothing. We will never be back at this facility.
