Billing Department Will Screw You Over Gibbons Family medicine did not notify us in advance of charges they would be levying against us for services outside of our insurance coverage. My wife first visited Gibbons Family medicine on 2/05/10. It was a standard visit involving minor lab work. We received a bill from them on 4/16/10 for $202.11 We called our insurance, BCBS of Indiana, who said that Gibbons Family Medicine did not use an in-network-provider for our lab work. Great Demeanor! Dr. Gibbons is always wonderful! She listens carefully and you never feel like you are being rushed out the door. I always feel like I am her only patient. She is great in managing all aspects of my health care needs. She is also honest and I don't feel like she just gives out medication to appease her patients. I would recommend her to anyone.
