Yes, my dentist saved my vision. Dr Schlissel spotted a very rare ONE IN A MILLION auto-immune condition called mucous membrane pemphigoid. Emory U Hospital could not give me a firm diagnosis. The condition is so rare I had to get a diagnosis and treatment by eye and skin specialists in Boston. There is no cure. It can be fatal. I am in remission without drug now for 3 years, only because my rare condition was spotted early by Dr. Schlissel, the dentist who saved my eyesight. Words cannot express my gratitude! Hub K.
