I've been to Eli's several times for lunch in the past. Last evening four of us went for dinner and had the most horrible experience. Slow service that was rewarded by being berated by a waiter who said "let's get a grip on reality people" when we inquired about the appetizers we had ordered 30 minutes prior. One of us ordered the corned beef and cabbage. It looked and tasted like dry overdone strips of beef while the accompanying cabbage was grated thin and totally mushy. What a horrible experience. Won't be going back.
A friend and I had a recommendation to eat here and it did not disappoint. Enjoyed a burger and homemade chips. Yummo!
Fantastic. I had the tomato basil soup and the pastor of the day . The soup was phenomenal I liked it so much that I got an order for home and I cut my entrée into two parts and I had that together with the soup
I love the appetizers, especially the Buffalo Shrimp, The Cheese, Bread and Fruit Plate and the Filet Mignon Bites �
Love Eli's food and drinks! When we stay downtown we like to swing in for lunch or dinner and always try something different. Always a great stop!
