Too bad the host with the man bun has absolutely no people skills and was extremely rude to us when we politely asked for an indoor table and not outdoor one last night. I've been here before and love the food but the way this person treated me and my boyfriend is completely unacceptable! It's too bad that after recommending this place so many times that we were treated so bad basically telling us to leave. He should really watch his words as he scares people away!
I can't believe I didn't know about this restaurant. The meals were delish & the staff awesome!
I can not recommend ELF enough. We have driven from Laguna Hills to go eat there and it still amazes us how good the food is. A great eclectic spot good atmosphere, and of course the dishes prepared by chef Dave Martinez are created with care and attention to detail, which culminates into an unbelievably satisfying dinning experience.

The food was amazing and the people were so so friendly! I am in LA for work, and so I was dining alone. I didn't make a reservation, but the man that met me at the door (the owner?) was super nice and sat me at the bar without batting an eyelash, and continued to check on me and chat with me throughout my meal.
