For 48 years 11th Street Diner was actually located in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. In 1992 it was dismantled and transported to Miami Beach, where it received an enthusiastic reception. We were over from the UK. My husband found 11th street diner on the internet while looking for places for breakfast we were very excited to see it was in an originally dining car. the interior is excellent. warm friendly staff ..we ordered the pancakes and we weren't disappointed they were lush!! ..if we are ever in Miami again we would definitely come back ..thanks guys

Very cool old school diner...#98 on our TripleD stops. The Argentinean Skirt Steak and the Patty Melt were most excellent! The staff was on top of it as well! Definitely a landmark for a reason!
