For 48 years 11th Street Diner was actually located in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. In 1992 it was dismantled and transported to Miami Beach, where it received an enthusiastic reception. In addition to diner staples like burgers, fries and great milkshakes, the restaurant serves a variety of salads, cold sandwiches, chicken and pasta dishes.

Stumbled upon this diner yesterday and decided to have the country fried steak and eggs. F#@$ING DELICIOUS! The steak was thick and tender. Cooked to perfection and cover in crispy crunchy batter with a side of eggs, potatoes and toast. Was very filling and well worth the $12. Waiter was attentive and polite. I'm going back today for the same meal and will probably go back everyday until I leave for home next Tuesday. Now when I move down here to south beach I know where I'm going to be eating since I can't cook. Lol
