Review: I am writing this to warn current and future residents of Elements 989. Management is currently attempting to enforce "late fees" that are in direct violation of Washington State Law (HB 1217). Even though my rent is $2,282 and state law strictly caps late fees at 1.5% ($35), management charged me $228 (over 10%). When I pointed out the state law, the manager's response was that their lease "has not been modified" and therefore they can ignore state statutes. UPDATE: After living in the Elements for over a year I must say this place is wonderful. The gym and pool are well taken care of as are other shared areas. There is a lot of space to explore besides your own apartment and the apartment I got was worth every penny (1706 in 989). The situation with packages also improved over the time and they have a trolley for heavy luggage / furniture. Elements self guided tour- I didn’t get to see it since instructions to the leasing office were not as descriptive as they should have been and took us nearly 30 min to finally make it to the leasing office after searching the wrong 3rd floor. The staff member (curly hair with dyed brassy chunks) finally told us where the leasing office could be found after 20 minutes. I did not find her demeanor warm, inviting or friendly. She seemed to have more air than she was worth (even if she managed the building.) so not a good first... read more
I do not recommend Elements Apartments in Bellevue. Management is poor and unresponsive, the hallways often smell like garbage, and the elevators are constantly broken. These are ongoing issues, not one-time problems. I’ve attached photos to support this feedback. For the high rent they charge, the conditions and maintenance are unacceptable. Save your money and look elsewhere.
We moved not long ago but we already feel at home! The staff is always welcoming and nice, ready to help us out with everything. The amenities are wonderful and the location even better. So glad we are able to live here!
