If I could rate it any lower, I would. This place seems to be constructed by toddlers it seems. The sink in out kitchen has fallen through into the cabinet below. We haven't even been here that long. We were told this was how the building was constructed and that it was going to happen to every sink in the place. (So expect that) Fire alarms seem to go off at random times with almost no rhyme or reason or real fires or even notices of fire drills or testing. A couple of times for over an hour. Falsely advertised what turned out to be an "affordable" unit as a regular unit online, for which I turned out to be overqualified. Then they would not work with us to lower the rent of a regular apartment because of the mistake they even admitted to.
This is my first negative review. I spend a huge amount of money for a loft at Elements @ Mueller, and althouh it looks nice, there are quite a few issues. The stairs were clearly not finished and there is a gap under the carpet between the wall and the stair; the bathtub had a plastic film on it that was not removed upon installation; there are paint stains on my bedroom floor (which I have covered), etc. Moreover, I was charged a late fee that they would not credit back due to a timing issue. I've only lived here for 2 months, and I absolutely cannot wait until I move out. This has been a bad renting experience. Here are the problems I've had: 1. The forced-included internet access (at $100 per month) is actually only 10 megs, and has had numerous long outages. Issues have to escalate through multiple tiers of partner companies/providers, eventually to TW, to actually get anywhere.
