one of the worst experiences i’ve ever had dealing with a recovery center . this place is a case of pinkwashing and false advertising . i was truly in shock with how incompetent the employees were and their lack of understanding of mental health , specifically bipolar 1 and substance use . the admission process was mishandled in a way that felt more gatekeepy and judgmental then cis het run centers , they offered no real help or any type of therapy informed type of communication that felt reasonable or considerate . they do ... read more

The team at Element Q has created a beautiful and much needed space for LGBTQ individuals seeking outpatient mental health treatment. Their approach is thoughtful, client-centered, and consistently reflects their commitment to quality care. Their dedication truly makes a difference and allows me to confidently refer clients to their program knowing they’ll be in great hands!
Every time I have had the opportunity to work with this program I have been impressed with the clinical team and the facilities as well.
I had such a wonderful experience at Element Q. It was very affirming to be in a space that is distinctly LGBTQIA+. I felt like I could bring all the parts of myself to the table. I feel grateful that I was able to be in a program that blends process, psycho education, somatics, and acupuncture/Chinese medicine. It felt very balanced. The staff are all empathic, kind, and compassionate. The bonds that I built with the other clients were deep and long lasting. I highly recommend this program.
