I took my 11-year-old daughter in for a V-layer haircut, but instead, we walked out with just a trim. Both my older daughter and I clearly explained to the stylist what we wanted and even agreed on how much hair should be cut. I understand she needed to even out the ends, but once that was done, she ran her fingers through my daughter’s hair, looked at me like she was finished, and waited for my reaction.
