ELECTROLEON STUDIO CITY BY THE HAND WASH Electroleon These guys SOAKED Me when I first got to town.... I found out a couple days later when I had another mechanic check the work a few of the things that were allegedly replaced were still original manufacturer parts. Me thinks NEVER AGAIN Will I get taken to the tune of $1800!!!
customer service that goes above & beyond! In the last month I have been to Electroleon twice & both experiences were above & beyond my expectations! My boyfreind has been a customer of theirs for the last ten years & he referred me to them because they were "good guys". My first trip to them involved replacing a headlight in my BMW. Balanced review Having dealt with this repair shop a few times in the past, I can see the pros and cons with using them. Yes on the one hand, they are fairly good at diagnosing and fixing your car -- but they are also quite expensive and can be vague as to what work was exactly done, so if $$$ is no object, all you really care about is your car being fixed, or you're living life on a credit card, then they are the auto repair shop for you. Excellent! Setting the record straight too. My experience with Harry and Leon was excellent. Being a woman... I am used to mecanics trying to take advantage of me. I've seen anything from arrogant to patronizing and every time, charging me a lot more than needed. I would only found out later talking to some male friends.

But with Harry and Leon, I have never had a problem. They are nice, straight forward and very reasonable. I highly recommend them.
Thieves! Never ever EVER go to this place!! It is run by a father and son scam artist team. I should have run the other way when this guy showed up in a convertible BMW the day our car broke down in Studio City. He had such an air of dishonesty about him.. But I thought, who am I to pre-judge. Well that was my first and biggest mistake. This guy ended up fixing our truck multiple times, all the while always telling us he was doing us a favor and charging us far less than he should. Guess that was another red flag huh? honest and efficient I've been going to Harry and Leon's for almost 20 years -- with quite a few different cars -- and have recommended them many times. Like the other reviewers below, I'm writing because that first review doesn't ring true. I haven't lived in Studio City for 5 years, but I still take my cars there from my home in Hancock Park -- because I trust Harry and Leon and know my cars will be kept in great shape for reasonable prices.
