The charging stations were great. BUT... Had to park in the garage and pay for parking even though the signs said free parking while charging.

This is a decent location for charging your car. However, it's worth noting that about half of the chargers are typically out of service. Fortunately, it's usually easy to find a functional one. Parking is free for the first 30 minutes. Before leaving, make sure to stop by the booth and confirm with the attendant that they have entered your free parking in the system. They usually come to your car as you pull up to charge and will enter your license plate for the complimentary parking.

In theory, this should've been a good experience. The location was great. It was easy to find the chargers. The location mentioned first 30 mins of EV charging was free. But upon exiting there was no one to validate the charging and I was asked to pay for parking. This is disappointing as the staff on call said Electrify America was displaying inaccurate information. But their own parking location had a board up front that said first 30 mins is free. I had to go back and forth with metropolis folks to get the refund of $7. I... read more
