Full of Flavor and Great Ambiance – Food is very tasty and full of flavor. I would recommend the naan and if you are a vegetarian there is a large selection of veggie dishes. Electric Karma Is The Best – I love Indian food, and Electric Karma has the best best best Indian food in Los Angeles. This is the most authentic food I have had in LA, and I have gone to many Indian restaurants. You have to try the Nirvana Chicken with Milk Sauce - it is amazing!
Avoid At All Cost!!!!! – I went to Electric Karma for my birthday celebration. I wanted to have a fun new experience and sit on the floor and maybe even eat with my hands!! When we arrived, they were not kind or inviting. The atmosphere was nice, but the restaurant was so dark that I couldn't read the menu well. Love the delivery! – It seems that the only time I eat Indian food is when I order delivery for a small party. There are about 20 Indian places that deliver and I have always been a bit disappointed but once I found Electric Karma i have been very pleased. Since then I have been ordering a combo at least once every other week.
Very charming atmosphere, delicious Indian cuisine, never dissapointing. – Electric Karma is so unbelievably charming! It is gorgeous inside - totally zen and very warm. You can choose to sit at a table or you can choose to sit on the floor atop big fluffy cushions and have your food served to you there. It's Ok – I wasn't particularly impressed with this restaurant although their Indian Sangria was quite tasty. The lamb biryiani was pretty good but a little pricey I thought. The decor is very nice and is a good place for either a date or party. The service was a little slow too. There are better Indian restaurants in LA but you could certainly do worse.
Great combination of atmosphere and food – Just got back after having dinner with some friends at Electric Karma. I'm Indian so am usually suspicious of most "Indian" restaurants as the food tends to be a little "catered" to the western palate. I went there because of the good reviews on this site. Yum & Fun – Electric Karma is inexpensive with really good food. The interior courtyard is fun and a pretty fantastic setting for lunch or dinner. The staff is super friendly and efficient. The one caveat is Surya is just a few blocks east on Third and has better food... the difference in quality might be lost on your average person but for a connoisseur of Indian cuisine it is undeniable. That said, if you want good food in a fun atmosphere Electric Karma is hard to beat.
