The staff is friendly and informative. Dr. Dunn is an excellent vet and always comes up with information that is completely new and helpful for the care of my cats. Dr. Dunn also, let Elrond spend the day at the vet with Bela who was having her teeth cleaned. Last year, Elrond was so angry when Bela came home from the vet smelling different. Elrond accessed his inner angry persona while at the vet but this time his anger at Bela was very minimal, so spending the day at the vet was good.
Very friendly and relaxed. My pets are often anxious at the vet's, but less so in this office from ones I have visited at other times. The staff is all very personable, and the doctors are very knowledgeable and obviously loving of the animals.
Dr. Eleanor Dunn is the best! I have been going to her since the opening of Grand Lake Vet Hospital and with three different dogs. Dr. Dunn is smart, caring, patient, committed to always learning, a great communicator, an amazing surgeon, and just an all-around lovely person. She's great with the animals and committed to providing them with the most stress-free visit possible.
Everyone at the clinic was very professional, friendly and kind. I knew my boy was in good hands. I loved receiving text updates and appointment reminders and confirmations. Dr. Dunn was a pleasure and all of the staff made me feel super welcome and comfortable. Thank you so much!
We have been going to Grand Lake Veterinary Hospital for as long as we have been in Oakland. For nearly 20 years Dr. Dunn and all the other staff (from Receptionists to Doctors) through the years tended to the health and care of all our cats until they passed from old age. Now they help with our dogs and we are very satisfied!
Excellent clinic with a staff of dedicated, caring and hard working individuals! I would 100% trust them with all of my pets needs.
