I'd like to write this review from two stand points: 1.As a provider. I was a memory care director, that intentionally used Elara as my primary service. They ensured that my Residents were all taken care of, and treated with the utmost respect and dignity. 2. As a family member... Elara assisted my dad with OT, PT and speech. Everyone was amazing! They were very friendly, compassionate and they did great work. Ashley (OT) Jim and Lisa (PT) and Paige (speech) were all incredible and we are all very thankful for the high quality of care they each gave my dad.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR LOVED ONE!! They only care about money not your loved one. Also, they treat their employees like garbage and treat them unfairly. I used to work for this company but no longer do. I been there 3 years and have had 3 managers in 3 years and the employee turn over is outrageous. So do not work for Elara either !!! Michael Kasson the manager needs to get FIRED HIMSELF. for treating his employees in an unfair manner.
The Elara Caring team from Akron, Ohio are the best. They recently took care of my sister in the nursing home before she passed away. They were all very caring and compassionate and treated my sister and our family with dignity and respect. Communication was excellent. I would recommend their services to those who may be in need.
The people who come to the house are good & caring,but the company..not so much. If they can't sell you a bunch of services, you'll probably be dropped from their care as I was. I had to call when their nurse was coming second day of service only to find out ,I was no longer a client. They couldn't call and tell me,oh no,! They care,alright..about how much services can be rendered on you.The first time ,they showed up..Second time,one time and 'see ya wouldn't wanna be ya..'
