The Best Salon in Nashville – I have been getting my hair cut at Elan for the past year and a half, and I've always found the experience to be exceptional. The staff is wonderful and very talented. An Elle magazine article about the 100 Best Hair Salons in America actually named them as one of only two salons in Tennessee to make the list. I go to Caitlin, and she always does a great job. Her cutting and styling techniques are better than anyone else who has cut my hair before. In sum, try out Elan; you'll be glad you did!
I had the best experience at Elan Skin!! – I was referred to Elan Skin by a coworker after complaining about a torturous waxing experience I had a few years back. I promised myself I would never get a wax again but she insisted that Elan was great and I would be in great hands with Lauren. So I gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised! The experince was actually great, not torture like before. It was quick and easy, which is how we all want a waxing to be! I will never go anywhere else!
Disappointed over all – I made an appointment from comments on Citysearch reviews. I have been to several salons, so I though I would try Nathan at Elan . I made an appointment and had my hair cut. He was very friendly and the staff was as well. After a just a haircut, 1 hair product, and tip , I had spent $115. (no color), and I was disappointed. Best Colorist for Blonds – I have been highlighting my naturally dark blond hair for years. I never was completely happy with my colorists and was always looking to be brighter but could never articulate it to them. When I moved to Nashville I scheduled an appointment with Julie at Elan and she is incredible. From the first appointment I was in love with her. Elan has it all! Great place for a cut and color! – Elan is a great place to get a hair cut and color. I have been going there for several years. And not only are the services excellent, but the atmosphere is friendly. It's a "Cheers" setting for an upscale hair salon. Although you can't go wrong with any of the stylists, Victor is wonderful. Very happy longtime customer – I have been going to Elan for almost 10 years - and have worked with several stylists and aestheticians within their business. I have consistently felt welcomed. Most of the time I have come out with a haircut and color that make me feel great!!! When I haven't been as happy - I have been able to go back in and have things corrected to my satisfaction with no worries! :) They truly care about their clients and keeping them happy.
Great place for waxing--Loren is amazing! – I got a brazilian wax for the first time tonight and was nervous. Loren, who did my wax, made me feel completely comfortable. She told me exactly what she was going to do before she did it, and kept the conversation going so I felt comfortable. Everyone at Elan was very friendly and accomodating, and they actually took me in for my appointment early. I would highly recommend Loren to anyone, whether they are a first time waxer or not.
I love Elan – I moved to Nashville from California about a year ago. I have tried a few salons but didn't love my hair when I left. I have been to Elan twice now and have had great experiences both times. I now recommend Elan to everyone.
Elegant Salon with friendly service – I recently moved to Nashville from Austin and love my new stylist (Victor). He is great at making the cut I want work for me and does some fun highlights too. The salon is easy to get to, the shampoos are always relaxing and I get so many compliments on my cut and color. I am a short-hair kinda girl so I am in every 5-6 weeks.
