Elan Parkside will pull out every stop to mislead you into renting an apartment, and then squeeze every cent it can from your pockets before your lease ends. Multiple leasing agents lied to my face about construction schedules at surrounding lots. I have heard other residents were told similar stories. It sure sounds like this is a strategy of the property—and maybe its parent company, the massive real estate firm Greystar Property Management?—to fill vacant units by any means necessary. Please read if you’re planning on touring or signing a lease here. I’ve lived here for nearly 7 months and thought the nice looking pictures, friendly staff, and amenities would overrule the negative reviews online, but I’m here to admit I was incorrect. We used to love this place, but new management is awful in handling lease renewals / move out. I would not recommend this place to my friends / family after the management change.
There are always problems with shipment deliveries. My most recent shipment got stolen. On one particular incident, the front desk couldn't find a huge box with 3 pairs of shoes, suggesting I file a complaint with UPS. After I filled a complaint they called me to tell me they found my shipment. One Sunday morning the pool was locked and when I asked the front desk ”why” they told me 300 times they” don’t know why”.
