We are very excited that El tepehuan is open now. The new space is fantastic, much better than the old one. The food was very good but the Margaritas were very disappointing. Came in a plastic cup and there was more ice in it than margarita. Not like the old Margaritas at the old restaurant. Plus we went on a Monday night and they did had not anticipated a lot of people and the service was not very good. Hopefully they will improve the drinks or I will just order beer.
I sat on hold for 30 minutes and when I hung up and tried to call back the signal was busy. I went in and ordered my food. That took another 30 minutes. Had to send it back twice and it's still wrong. It was cold by the time I got it. I called back and talked to Lisa? I think was her name and she had the worst attitude, speaking over me and only would refund it if I brought it back right now but seeing i was on a lunch break that wouldn't work so she said oh well sorry. My buddy and I walked up to the doors yesterday ready for a nice dinner after a round of golf. It was 3:40 pm when we approached the doors, with signs and banners advertising the fact they were open. The restaurant was probably 75% capacity as we peered through the windows. As we were about to enter one of the managers was locking the door and drawing the shades. i like the food, but i always thought it was too salty. i hope they cut back on the salt.
So let me get this straight...the dining room is open and the plumbing issues are fixed?
Just an FYI for all of the people who are dying for their El Tepehuan fix- like me. Just went past and read the signs posted in the windows- drum roll......Grand Opening on 10/16- YES. They will be open on Monday! That is what the window says. Enjoy!!!
