The food and service is always great. A favorite spot for sure!
I’ve had a long-time love affair with El Taco Grande. The food is yummy, the service is great, and they gladly make vegan modifications for me, which is awesome! Also my fave mango margaritas!!
I live in Chicago with access to all the taquerias I want. I still come to El Taco because it is delicious af. Also, it’s the only place in my hometown that I still want to visit. Thank you for everything you do.
I couldn't rate the food this visit, because for the first time in our long history of eating here, the kitchen had difficulty getting any food out. We were greated and seated right away, placed our order and 45 minutes and 5 apologies later from our waiter our food never came. The breaking straw was when a family of 5 that were seated 10 minutes after our order was in got ALL their food before us and we got another apology. Had to leave. They have always given great service and I am hoping this was just a fluke.
I've been eating here since ETG opened in 1991. Never had anything I didn't like. Try their horchata and margaritas, you won't be sorry! My favorite dish is the tacos de Lengua dinner.
