Great Mexican Food! We took the whole family to El Sombrero's Restaurant and we all really liked it. The atmosphere was fun and the decor was tastefully done. The food was very good. We all ordered different things from the menu and shared, so that we could try a variety and we were all pleased.
My son’s baseball organization had a fundraiser selling burritos the local through restaurant El Sombrero. It has been an extremely successful fundraiser and the team has been working with this restaurant for the past 3 years. It has come to my attention that one of the wet burritos sold by our group contained a pen wrapped inside it. El Sombrero – I am a HUGE fan of good authentic mexican food. This place was HORRIBLE! Not only was the food of poor quality, the portions were off and the customer service was extremely bad. I ordered a taco bowl with only cilantro, steak, onions (guac, salsa & sour cream on the side) on the side. The bowl was FULL of shredded cheese and large pieces of cilantro. Looking for great Mexican food? You're search is over. – El Sombrero is absolutely delicious. It is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Grand Rapids. My favorite menu item is the wet burrito. It's so good! The portions are generous and prices are reasonable. I would definitely recommend El Sombrero to anyone looking for a good meal. Plus, I am pretty sure they are locally owned. Dining there puts money back in to the community.
Amazing Wet Burritos! – I love the wet burritos at El Sombrero! They are smothered in an amazing red sauce and the lettuce is crisp on the insides! Mmmm! I have recently moved out of state and haven't been able to find another burrito that comes close to comparing to one from El Sombrero. I can't wait to come back to visit Grand Rapids and have me the perfect wet burrito! :)
