Local favorite – The staff serves up great authentic Mexican food at reasonable prices. Very friendly wait staff. Locals always return for the fabulous food and good atmosphere. This restaurant is a local great.

Good Mexican in Porter County – For all the hooplah with El Taco Real, it's nice to come across a Mexican restaurant with decidedly more flavor to the food. This was my first time eating at Salto, and I was very pleased. They did not have much for hot salsas, as I am guessing that the local clientelle don't have the hot tongues ont he whole.
