Go in hungry, leave the same! El Rancho in Portales is supposed to have good Mexican food. We decided to try them out as our family loves Mexican fare. When we went in, it was fairly quiet. The restaurant was clean. We seated ourselves at a table and watched the waitresses. We thought they would ask our drink preferences and give us a menu. Every time we are in town visiting my sister and brother-in-law we have to at least twice, one for lunch/dinner and one for the weekend brunch favorite place to eat in Portales.
