Our founder, Peter, started El Rancho Grande as a way to pass on his family's heritage. He started with a small taco stand in a train diner car at Union Pier and has worked dedicatedly with his team to build it into the local dining destination it is today. Hostess was rude and service was bad.
But the waitress was great!

The bartender was rude. The server inattentive. The f Food was WAY BELOW ANY STANDARDS. Even the water was nasty. First time LAST TIME
Everything was pretty good 4 1/2 stars out of 5. Nicely decorated, the chips n salsa are irresistible!! My shrimp tacos were delicious!

Has always been my favorite for Tex Mex but haven’t been there in a few years. Did someone hire new cooks? This was the absolutely worse Mexican food I have ever eaten. Steak burritos caliente was covered in red enchilada sauce and not a hint of spice. Plus hardly any meat. There is no similarity between what I used to get and what I got today! Too bad one less place to eat!
Our grandsons (4 yrs) have not quit talking about the man � in the restroom mirrors. The decor was "bootiful" �and food delicious.
