I have been going to El patio for over 40 years now. Watched it change hands a couple of times. I love the food very good. The waitresses/ waiters are very nice most of the time. However the people who bring you water and the chips and salsa they don't listen to a word you say. I don't know if it's because I'm white . Because really I'm not, I'm Italian and I'm nice to everybody, I guess I can expect that from everybody else. other than that it's good food great place. I I have came to El Patio for over 20 years my trip this afternoon was very disappointing our waitress was unfriendly and never asks how our food was how we were felt very impersonal love your food love the obvious fear was disappointed with the service
I have been coming here for more than 30 years. Almost always get the same thing, bean and cheese burrito with extra cheese and onions! And what makes it absolutely fantabulous is that it’s smothered in their famous cheese sauce! This is like an ooey gooey mix of enchilada sauce and melted cheese! Absolutely delicious. �
We love El Patio. On a busy Friday evening we went in and asked how long before we would be served our food. We explained that we had tickets to the theater. They got us right in, took our order, and had our food to us within 10 minutes, even though we had said we had 45 minutes. We got in, ate a delicious dinner, paid, and were in our seat in time for the curtain to go up thanks to their great service! El Patio was part of a wonderful evening in San Diego!
