Where's my free Sopapilla?
Must try them!!! – Hey! Great service! NICE VERY NICE, STEAKS(Ranchero, Mexicano or a la DIABLA) mmm, super yummy!!!! HAVE TO TRY THEM. Good prices on Margaritas and wines.
Excellent Service, Horrible Food – I just had lunch here and had high hopes as I am a fan of good mexican food. Unfortunately the food was really bad. The chips were stale and cold, the salsa was decent but my meal, a taco and enchilada were obviously not made fresh and the cheese inside the enchilada wasn't even fully melted. I do have to commend them for excellent service, but I supposed great service can't make up for bad food. I would never go back.
Taco Bell is better..... – The people that gave this more than 2 stars... Need to go try some better Mexican food. The food was bad quality, not much taste and just plane old boring. The guac was brown, the tomatoes looked old and the meat quality just bad. I would say go to Lime for example (4-5 blocks away on other side of I-25), they have fresh Mexican food, with a better atmosphere and the prices about the same. Even any mass chain restaurant will make better fajita's than this place.
comforting and consistant – I have been going to El Parral with my family for the past 15 years at least and have never been disappointed. Heck, this was my birthday destination of choice for years and years. They are fast, consistent with flavor and it's crazy cheap. I was recently diagnosed with celiac disease and the saddest thing to me was that I can no longer get their burritos (especially the chicarron ones smothered with lettuce and cheese! favorite ever). The menudo is always good and satisfying and the taquitos de c... read more
Sloppy, delicious goodness – This place is always packed, but the service never suffers. I love me some sloppy Mexican food (like TexMex) and El Parral hits the spot. No, it's not gourmet, but it's delicious and cheesey and smothered in goodies!
It's ok, but.... – It's ok. The staff is always friendly, the place is clean, but the food is just a little sub-standard for the area. There are much better choices. Amigos, Three Margaritas, Hacienda Colorado. I'd try some of those instead.
Mexican Food – Having heard good things about El Parral we gave it a shot. I wouldn't go back. Not to this location anyway. Guacamole was brown, chips were a little stale. Not worth your trip.
Great food. Great Price – My wife and I will go out of our way to go here when we are in the mood for Mexican. the Chimi's are crisp and great and the fajitas are outstanding. it won't cost you a fortune and your seated and eating in no time. starving and on a budget? this is the mexican restaurant for you!!!
