EXCELLENT RESTAURANT – The El Parador Cafe has to be on of the finest restaurant on the east side my buddy took me there once and I have been hooked ever since oh and while im here may I suggest the rib eye its fantastic.

AVOID THIS PLACE, THEY WILL LOSE YOUR RESERVATION AND THEN TREAT YOU LIKE A LIAR!!!! – We had reservations for four, when we arrived they lost our reservation and instead of apologizing we were told that we should have confirmed our reservation and treated as if we never made it. Poor Customer Service!!! I will never go there again.
The Best Mexican in NY – As a California transplant, who has been in NY 9 years, I have finally found my Mexican restaurant! El Parador is absolutely amazing- from the service to the salsa to the entrees, they have NEVER disappointed. Great for datenight, or a large group. Best margaritas in the city, hands down. Go now, I'm serious.
Very very good – Was there for the first time last night. The food was very very good, the margaritas were great, and the atmosphere and service were just lovely. Try the chorizo!!
The Best Mexican Place in the City! – We've been going here for 4 years now, even though they've been around for 40+, and have always had a great experience. Try the guac, the taco tray and the fish tacos if they have them. Great friendly service, nice ambience, nice bar, all around great dining experience.
A good surprise in middle of nowhere – I have lived in Murray Hill for years and had never dare to enter this restaurant which from outside seems outdated and dirty. However one day three of us went for dinner on a weekday night and found the place very much alive with a nice crowd, professional service, promising menu. Best Mexican in the city – I ate there the other night. Great atmosphere as well as ambiance. Alex the owner was very friendly and accomodating. The sangaria is excellent as well as the tequila selection. We ordered the nachos Royal and split tacos and the chicken in the Mole sauce. I will be back again in a few weeks.
