Definitely a top 10 Mexican food experience in NorCal. Hidden small restaurant in Sonoma that brings it! Enjoy yourself and definitely try the enchiladas suiza while there. Also, take some tamales home for later! In many years of patronizing I've never had a bad experience in anyway. Enjoy!
This is a Michelin bib gourmand rated Mexican restaurant in Sonoma... So, we were very excited to try it. We had tried Holbox in LA and were appropriately impressed. Well, this one is nowhere near a bib gourmand level... We ordered the fish tacos and the crispy chicken tacos... The fish tacos barely had any fish in it... mostly batter and piled with cabbage slaw and little sauce. I recently visited El Molino Central based off Festus Feasts on TikTok and came away a bit split, this place absolutely nails the vibe and service, but the food didn’t quite live up to the hype. We ordered the Bohemia beer-battered fish tacos and Zoraida’s mother’s Oaxaca mole enchiladas. Starting with the tacos, they were just okay overall.
