Maria ate here on Friday and got severe food poisoning!! She had to be hospitalized! If anybody else got sick here please let us know.
Very disappointed in the service at El Mezcal lately. I was a once a week customer but have decided not to make this a part of my regular schedule. I’m pretty easy to please but it’s not a lot of fun to eat out at a place that the servers seem put out by every request... like bringing silverware and refilling drinks.
RecommendedI’ve just ordered and fallen in love with “Pechuga Relleno.” The chipotle sauce is incredible and the chicken breast stuffed with ham, onions, and cheese is the best thing I’ve ever eaten in a Mexican restaurant!
You can’t order a drink 15 minutes to closing time. Their closing procedures being 45 minutes to closing and make it loud and ridiculous.

I ordered to go, 2 chile relino dinners. I pick up the order and both dinners are in one container! All slopped together. I went back in to tell him we had ordered 2 dinners, not one, and its then the young man told me both dinners were in the same container. Never will we go there again. Just nasty, not only in the way it was served but the way it tasted.
Spent $60 on takeout. Food was cold upon opening (we live less than 2 mins away at best) We specifically asked if the chicken enchiladas contained just chicken and cheese and wer e told yes.. in fact they contained red peppers and green peppers (which my son can't eat.) Chicken tasted bizarre. Beef enchiladas were made with a greasy foul-tasting ground meat. They also contained zero cheese. Again, everything completely cold. Called to speak to a manager and told there was no manager on duty. Disappointed. Waste of money.
Horrible Service! Will NOT RETURN. Waited over 30 minutes to order. Didn’t even get my appetizer until my food came. Never came & checked on my table. Hair in Salsa.
