I lived in Lakewood when this place opened, and visited there many times with friends and family. I no longer live in the area, but I'm sure I'll be going back when I visit relatives in the area. Great memories there too, like the time we were there with my granddaughter who was not even a year old, and she kept flirting with the cute male server! It's a keeper, for sure!
Authentic, delicious, Mexican fare, lots of great menu choices, hospitable staff, big portions, and it doesn't take 30 minutes for your food to arrive! MUCH preferred to the more "famous" place down W. 117th.
Normally I like coming here. The servers are friendly, and the food is on par. Today, our dining experience was completely ruined by "The drummer from Tool" (a gentleman who is missing multiple marbles, and was going from table to table cursing, and just being foul in general). I casually let the server know that I had him removed by CPD when I was the manager at Harry Buffalo. They attempted to talk to the guy, but allowed him to continue his shenanigans. Every time we come here we are greeted promptly, served fresh chips promptly, and are always satisfied with our meal and wonderful service! Kudos to the staff!
Without a doubt the worst Mexican I've ever had. My son and I are both sick today from what we think was the salsa. My husband didn't eat it (too hot for his liking) and he's fine. The service was VERY, VERY slow, too. The only thing this place has going for it is their large portions. Never again.
Usually have had good experiences here but today was horrible. I had the fish tacos and it was literally the worst thing I have ever been served in any restaurant. It tasted like the meat was spoiled. The waitress said that they where aware the fish tasted off but served decided to serve anyway. Thanks for possibly poisoning me. I will never go back. Utterly irresponsible.
