The bartenders are extremely poor at checking legal IDs at the bar. I am not from California and the bartender looked at my license under a flash light for 30 seconds and told me to leave. He didn’t say why and when I asked he walked away. Keep in mind I have plenty other forms of also legal proofs of ID yet he did not care. When I asked another bartender why LEGAL licenses were not accepted, she ignored the question. Neither of them did anything to actually check if my state license was legal or actually educate themselves.... read more
