El Governor is a great place to stay. The staff and employees goes out of their way to make you feel at home and safe. Our family has been coming to El Governor for over 30 years, at least 2-3 times a year and would recommend El Governor Motel to anyone who enjoys beautiful sunsets, walks on the beautiful beach and just relax by the pool with friendly people for near and far. We look forward to each trip.

My husband and I stated at the El Governor Motel in Mexico Beach a few years ago and loved it. My favorite part was sitting in a porch swing with my feet in the sand watching the waves! Absolutely beautiful!!
Great place. Love Mexico beach for a relaxing vacation. El governor is the best. Go fishing, boating, swimming or just watch the sunset from your room.
Stayed here in Oct. of this year! The staff were outstanding! We will be back!!
We love staying in the annex portion of the motel. We are senior citizens. Would love to come down one more time before age catching up with up.
