I think El Governor is the Very best place to stay on the beach. You cannot get closer to the water !!! I have been coming every year for the last 10 years.
Great motel. The best view,from every floor, of the ocean. Room is spotless and very friendly personal. Will definitely return.

We are checking out tomorrow and I am already sad. This was our 1st stay here and now it will be many more stays. Despite the rain my son had an awesome time and so quiet here and relaxing. LOVE, LOVE, El Governor Motel.

This is our second year staying here. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are super clean. Also priced very low. You can watch the sunset from your balcony. We found more than enough shells to take home, right out the motel door.
I will love staying at your beautiful motel and bathing in the sun every day. .Also, we have a 57th wedding anniversary in April and would love to there to celebrate.
The El Governor Motel is sitting right on the beach. All rooms are beachfront. There isn't a better view as far as I am concerned. When I need to relax and unwind, I book a room in the high rise. Even if it's storming, you can open your door and look out the window or sit on your balcony and drink in the beauty of Mexico Beach. I can't imagine going anywhere else. The sunsets can't be matched. <3 <3 <3 the El Governor Motel!
