I will have to say the best beach in the gulf!!!!!
We love Mexico Beach and The El Governor! We have stay many times and will keep coming back. Great quiet area and beautiful beach.
Just came home yesterday and honestly already missing it! The room was clean and loved the view!
Just recently stayed here. Love the view from the balcony. Friendly staff. The only thing that kept this from getting 5 stars is several times we had the door to the balcony open to hear the waves and smell the fresh air from the gulf, only to have it ruined by heavy cigarette smoke coming in from neighboring balcony(s) making us have to close the door to keep from it filling our room.
We absolutely loved our stay this week with El Govenor Motel. The staff was wonderful and loved the location. Wasn't as crowded as Panama, and was right on the beach!!! So wonderful to have a kitchen so we could cook supper or any meals. We will definitely b going back!!!
A gem, throwback to the old Florida I visited as a child. Friendly, accommodating staff. Regular return visitors makes it feel homey. Afraid to say too many good things, lest the secret get out.
