Great food but DO NOT eat the tamales! They are so dry, almost like eating sand... But on a good note.. margatitas are amazing!
Chicken pozole is delicious - one of the most authentic I've had besides my grandma's. No cabbage though! :(

Great food, great atmosphere, good service. – I've been to El Fuego several times and have loved it each time. The food is very good, not truly "100 %authentic" but much better than a Chichis or similar place. The atmosphere is the best part. Patio is awesome, so is the interior. Margaritas are awesome. Unlike the other reviewer, I thought the amount of alcohol in the drinks was perfect, albeit a little on the heavy side. Could use a little work on the hostess staff, not the most attentive. NICE BUT THE COOK NEEDS TO GO BACK TO CULINARY SCHOOL – I LOVE THE PLACE IS BEAUTIFUL THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXCELLENT BUT THE FOOD IS LIKE AMERICANIZED MEXICAN FOOD THE DRINKS NEED MORE LIQUOR IN THEM THEY TASTED LIKE CHILIS DRINKS OH AND DONT ORDER OYSTERS THEY MADE ME GAG THEY TASTED OLD .
