We have been coming to El faro for 10 years and it's amazing. Pepe and Shelly are the best people and we love their family. We haven't been eating out since the pandemic hit, but we had El Faro for pick up today. Pepe did a great job keeping everything extra safe and handled everything in a very sanitary manner just like you'd want with current events. this is the local to go place to still get great and safe food.
I’m convinced they have the best tortilla soup in all of Texas. Add in fresh jalapeños!

If you are in Austin you need to go to El Faro Austin! They are so good. 🙂 we’ve been wanting to check them out for awhile and it was so yummy. Certain days, I think tues-thu they do buffet for 9$ and other days they do menu. Make churros and breakfast tacos etc. they don’t do take out. But they do catering. Best asada!! I’ve had in a long time. And I can’t remember the name of this pork in a dark chile sauce. But it was divine !!!!
