I read somewhere that this place invented the burrito, which is kind of cool. Theirs are very good (and huge). This location is very near Staples Center and Nokia theater, making it a great restaurant option before or after a show/game.
I was taking clients to the Laker Game at the Staples and we thought we would meet for drinks and appetizers somewhere around the Nokia Center. Unfortunately, everywhere we went had 45 minute wait times. Thankfully, we had seen El Cholo about a block away where we parked. It turned out to be the perfect place to go pre-game. Not nearly as crowded. The staff was so nice and we had a delicious appetizer platter that fed 4 hungry girls along with tasty margeritas.
