This is an excellent little restaurant with food that is not only beautiful on the plate it is extremely delicious. The owner is very nice and pleasant and he will make you happy with your experience. Wonderful place to enjoy a meal.

This place made me pretty nostalgic- as the right place would. El Chivito transported me to el estadio Jalisco, smells of tejuino, tacos dorados, and the vinegar scent lingering along with mejorana...and the Chile.... that chile left my lips hurting for a while after- well worth it. El birote is salty and real dense- just like Guadalajara birote- a rarity to find in these areas- as a torta ahogada is heavily accomplished with the right birote. These are legit - it was like being back home in Guadalajara. Everything is freshly made even the Birotes (bread), the sauce is amazing!
