it has been years since the Location in Carrollton closed that we have had El Chico! We found this one in Flower Mound ordered 24 soapapillas, Tamale plate an chimichanga. I died an went to Heaven! Staff was AMAZING. I look forward to Driving from Farmers Branch to Flower Mound at least 1 time a week now. They have a Sunday Brunch i will be coming to every sunday.
I sent this message to corporate about the El Chico - Flower Mound. Twice they responded that I would be contacted by management of this location, and as of today, I have heard nothing. I just visited El Chico for the first time in 20 years. I used to go to the one further south off of 35. I wanted to see if the food is still just as good as it ever was. It is. I moved out of the area 20 years ago and I've wanted to come back to visit ever since. Staff were great-extremely friendly even though I showed up right before closing. AWESOME!
me and my sister usually come here maybe once a week and here lately it has been soooooooo slowwwww on the service. It's always the same excuse every single time! short staffed well get an account on indeed or any job hiring site and hire some servers for christ sake!!! maybe hire a new manager if you cant keep servers either way its absolutely ridiculous!! This was probably my last visit to this El Chico. I was appalled to see the condition of the restaurant when walking in. They need to do some major work on this and repair the booths, tables, carpeting, etc. The restaurant was less than half full but everything was extremely slow. It took more than ten minutes to order drinks and another 10 to actually get them. They closed the one in Sherman Texas so me and my wife and son came to this one food was good I noticed that the building was kinda run down inside I asked what happened to the one in Sherman they said that they were going to slowly fade this restaurant out only four left in Texas they said it's really sad now there's no place close by to get good Mexican food for us we had to drive two hours for that meal hopefully it will get better
I would recommend whatever your taste buds want. Our large party of 20 people had an amazing time! Food was great. Waiter was awesome - thank you Fillipe. We go to this restaurant quite often, and have never had a bad experience.
