I am not kidding when I say they have THE BEST corn taco shells and chips anywhere!! We love the service as well.
Unfortunately, my hard taco was so soggy I couldnt eat it, the rice tasted like the pan it was cooked in. The servings were very small. Definitely missing our hometown Mexican restaurant. The manager did make their rounds though, and was very receptive to the review. We were willing to pay for the meal even though I did not eat it.

Hubby & I are retired military. We've been everywhere. THIS is our favorite place to eat, EVER! For almost 20 years!! Amazing food, beautiful, festive atmosphere, very clean & the nicest folks to take care of you! Great for celebrations, even just your everyday kind! Fun for families & good choices for kids. We now live in DC & talk about El Chico all the time, we miss it so! Go have an enjoyable time & a delicious meal!
I use to love this place.....but the food tonight was awful, steak fajita was so tough even after getting a second plate after complaining waste of money for sure
