I've never had a bad experience here, and I'm surprised at the unfavorable reviews.
The same guy (I think he's a/the manager) has helped me out before on several occasions. He took a lot of time to explain to me the features of the various gun safes, and another time when I came in, he took plenty of time in helping me figure out exactly what scope mount would be compatible with a rifle I brought in. They also worked out a discount package price on targets/ammo when I took a firearms training class with the criminal justice program at Grossmont College.
friendly... – I'm a younger gunowner, but never had a problem with the older staff making me feel like I wasn't welcome like some reviewers have stated. In fact, I came here on the day I turned 21 to get my pistol safety certificate, and the fellow who helped me out was friendly and also patiently helped me out again two weeks later when I lost my stupid card and they had to issue me a new one.
