Good food, good service! They have amazing authentic mexican food! The service is always good and the food is always amazing! It is very affordable. We get the tapopo (sp?) salad for take out all the time!
Great service and food I was very suprised at the cleanliness of the restaurant, and the service was excellent. My first time in I ordered and it came up hot and fresh, and fast!
Always good. I remember when this place was in the basement of a building down the street from where it is now located. The view is definitely better, and the food looks even better (couldn't see before as it was very dark down there, lol). If you like Mexican food, you will love this restaurant. Walking distance from MSU.
Not One of the Best Personally I feel as though this restaurant always looks dirty inside. The service is always so-so. There are definitely better Mexican restaurants in the area.
YUMMY YUMMY!! My husband and I would go to El Azteco weekly while living in the area, boy do we ever miss it! The food is amazing, and the other reviewer is right about the cheese dip. High quality foods and a unique place in general. We have even held birthday dinners there!!
Awesome Margaritas El Azteco hands down has the best margaritas ever! They have awesome mexican food too! Don't miss out on their cheese dip appetizer or blue corn enchiladas, other favorites are the enchiladas de queso and the topopo salad. I discovered this little gem while attending MSU, so be prepared for a college crowd. I wouldn't say their service is the best either & they're always busy but these are trivial compared to their awesome food and drinks. The Restaurant that hooked me to Mexican Food I've never liked Mexican food, until I tried this place. Everything (that' I've tried) is fantastic. Their burritos, enchiladas de queso and tacos are superb. You can't go wrong with what you order. On the negative side, this place is usually busy (the waiters occasionally forget to clean/wash the table before you sit down) and getting your order can take a while. Still, I would recommend El Azteco to anyone.
outstanding Mexican Fare My husband and I met at a blind date at El Azteco 26 years ago...the marriage and the food are still good!!! Try the Enchiladas de Jocoque-mild or a Botana (or anything really...everything is good....these are just my personal favorites!)
