I enjoyed it I enjoyed it...ordered the Texas fajitas and cheese dip and it was fantastic. Server was very kind and it only took about 5 mins to get my food. Also, the margarita was a little strong for me, but I'm a lightweight, so most people would probably see that as a benefit.
Good basic Mexican Used to come here quite a bit for lunch with friends. Nothing stands out, but it's cheap-and-cheerful--a good place for a beer and maybe a bite with some chips and salsa.
Favorite Mexican Joint in Town I come here as often as I can to get a cheap meal and margaritas. I usually order the chimichangas whenever I eat Mexican, but I've tried a few other items like the Fajitas and Enchilada's which are all good but they are not the chimichanga! Anyway, I've never had a problem here. The service is always fast and courteous and my margaritas are always right on the money. The parking lot sits on a steep hill which is kinda weird but other than that this place is the best!!
bad food bad service I had hope since it looked like a dump the food would be good but no...The eye rolling waitress could not have been any more put out. The food tasted like it was reheated from from the week before. The margaritas are pricey and its all mix. Atlanta is full of great place to eat please take my advice and avoid this one. I see some positive reviews but trust me those writers must be the owners of "El Azcrappa" because the negative reviews are DEAD ON ACCURATE
Rude Although my friends and I enjoyed ourselves in the begining, and we enjoyed the atmosphere, the food was overcooked. The security guard and the patrons below blocked the only exit of the restuarant and commented that he was the owner of the bar and he could do what ever the h@# he wanted. The patrons were outside of the bar in the street drinking which is illegal and he had no sign indicating that there was no thru exit. Fun Atmosphere, but Mediocre Food This is a fun place for sitting on the patio & drinking with friends. However, the food isn't the greatest. I am from Southern California where Mexican food is great so my expectations were high. The fajitas have good flavor, but the meat is overcooked. I prefer Chili's steak fajitas over these.
Best fried Chimichanga in all the world!(next to moms) Great food, I have issues coming up with enough words to properly praise the food quality. The firedchicken chimichanga with the white cheese sauce drenched over it is absolutely to die for. It is not too expensive, and provided you go during the week it is pretty peaceful. On the weekend they have a live mariachi band and people who offer to take Photos and sell roses.
Mexican They have some of the best Mexican food in Atlanta area. If you go, you have to have their cheese dip, it is to die for. They also have great fajitas. The parking lot is always packed, so be prepared to hunt for parking.
I have been coming here for a few years. The drinks are awesome. Today the service and the food sucks. I am truly disappointed.
