Great food and usually great service. This restaurant has the best chips and salsa in the city, the fideo soup is fantastic, and I always get dessert here because the vanilla flan is delicious. One of my favorite Mexican restaurants
I have actually never eaten here, but I plan to now! My car broke down in front of the restaurant last Sunday evening and several of the staff came running out seeing that my hazzard lights were on. They helped us push the car into the parking lot and offered to let me leave it over night, if I needed to. I got a tow and one young man even chased the tow truck around the block to make sure he knew where he was going. THANK YOU so much to those that helped!!! What a kind and helpful bunch you have there, I definitely plan on ... read more
So nice seeing Juanita, one of the first Mexican resturants in Fort Wayne way back when & still going strong. Godd food & service..... Never forget going there with Fort Wayne Komet Hockey player Terr McDougall an got a kick out of how he loved the Mexican soup.
The staff are all super friendly. I like that they have local musicians play there. The food just isn't that good. The salsa is simply tomato sauce. No onion, garlic or cilantro. No peppers are spices at all. The quesadilla is very hard, dried out, and whole wheat or something. I do like the jicama salad and the black bean soup but not much else. Sorry.
We've been eating here since high school and brought our kids back to visit. They were nice enough to put there names on the sign :)
Went there on mothers day and wasnt disappointed....great waitress..been going there 40 yrs........mostly consistent.........feels like home
Horrible experience- and it was a Mothers Day lunch with my mom and my son!! We waited well over an hour on our food, and when we finally got it, the waitress had no apology, just sent over the manager- who got rude with us!!! Unbelievable!! I've never had a restaurant manager be so extremely rude to me. I've always liked el Azteca, and me and my mom would go there often for lunch. NEVER AGAIN!!!! There are WAY too many delicious Mexican restaurants in Fort Wayne to put up with being treated badly at this place!!! I've lived... read more
