Gorgeous place... peaceful, serene. Great hiking trails, beautiful lake. Camp grounds are spacious and good hookups. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.
Great biking trails. Less then an hour drive from DFW.
It doesn’t suck to get away
Nice spacing between sites for the ones not right on the lake front, well maintained, and normally nice and quiet.
The park has a great little swimming area ( it is downhill and do not recommend sandals while hiking to the beach) definitely worth the trip, has many trails and scenic views.
Very relaxing clean bathrooms beautiful day!
