I was in the emergency room on April 15, 2024. I spent 7 hours waiting for a doctor to see the results but there was no doctor to see them. The nurses told me to come back the next day so they could read them. terrible and inhuman attention
I use to have a hard time being seen and treated, but now that most of the staff helps me immediately. In the past the Old Abington was more personable, like 20 years ago...It feels like it may be bouncing back. I have an excellent team of Doctors, the nursing can use a little training on how not to judge people..I had a torsades code a few years ago from the nursing staff ignoring me. That changed everything, Dr's are more attentive
