As a mom of two, who breastfed for 17 months and 12 months, respectively, it saddens me to hear about the humiliation and hate shown towards a nursing mom. Would you eat under a blanket, half suffocated, or in a stall? Would you appreciate being forced to take your food to go? Would YOU let your child go hungry in public to avoid humiliation? Serving food to others but not allowing a mother to feed her child the most natural and best way possible. Truly disappointing. Look up the OK laws for Breastfeeding!
With all the negativity I thought I'd send some positivity your way. We love eating at eggberts. The food is good most days and the atmosphere is great. Servers for the most part are a little rude and just as soon wish you weren't there, But the food, I give 4 stars.
Poor mama, my baby refuses to be covered up. By why should he have to be? Babies need to be fed just like we do! I wouldn't have done any of the things asked of this mom. I would have waited until they called the police and watched them get a lesson on the rights of a breastfeeding mama.

I truly hope you make breastfeeding rights a normal part of the training and hiring of current and future employees ! Shame on the staff that humiliated a mom trying to FEED her child! It is absolutely NOT ok!!! I am disappointed in the behavior of employees at this location! Educate!!

I am absolutely disgusted at the fact that this restaurant's employees shamed a mother for feeding her child! It is illegal to tell a woman to "cover up or "leave" because she's breastfeeding. If i am allowed to eat at your restaurant, my children are allowed to eat at your restaurant REGARDLESS of if we're eating a different type of food. All employees involved in the situation should be fired. I hope you get sued.
