Delicious! I went to the Libertyville location for lunch with coworkers this week. When I found out there was a location in Lake Geneva I told my husband we had to go. Went for breakfast this morning. Service and food were great!
Food was good but the service was lacking. We were in around 10am on a Wednesday it was very slow with only one other table near us yet we seemed very rushed and felt like we were pushed out the door.
The potatoes with the breakfast could be better. More seasoning
Everything was amazing. I ordered a pot roast skillet. Only thing was my sunny side eggs were a little over cooked. Wish I would have ordered three eggs for the yoke. Other than that, the pot roast was tender. My food was well seasoned, and my portion of food was pleasing. The homemade jam was on another level. Definitely plan on going back to try something else.
Great food with unique taste and recipes. Reception area is small and mostly crowded but I think people don't mind. There is hot fresh and free coffee for customers waiting for their table. You can't find better breakfast place than the "Egg Harbor Cafe". Our grand son has moved to CA, & he thinks that we are so lucky to have the cafe in our home town Glenview. If you are visiting the area, you must come to try out the delicious fresh juice & food.
