Best breakfast in Rockford. It's a shame they're closing today. Lemon poppyseed pancakes are heavenly. Fruity French toast! Awesome wait staff.
I love this restaurant. It serves the best breakfast in the area. Every time I go it's packed because I'm not the only one who loves it. You cannot close!

We really like Egg Harbor Cafe and we are very disappointed they are closing for the stupidest reason ever!! The place is ALWAYS packed and apparently the "management decision" was that the Rockford location is the furthest away from their other locations and they want the locations closer together! What a crock! Rockford has lower income clientele than the rich people in Barrington, Schaumburg etc. Once the Rockford location closes, we will NOT be driving closer to Chicago to give them our business.
