Very personable, kind and competent
I would give my highest recommendation for Dr. Edward Stolarski for those who need a total hip replacement. The whole experience was almost painless. The surgery went very well and I was out of the hospital after only one night. I never had any serious pain. I was able to walk very well after a few days and only used a walker for one week. After one month I have no pain and can walk without pain.
Dr. Stolarski has replaced 4 (yes 4) joints for me and one for my husband. My most recent surgery was this morning at Doctors Hospital Outpatient Surgery Center. I am happily sitting at home with”Iceman:cold machine on 2 pressure stockings to prevent DVT’S. The surgical clinic and staff were all clinically excellent and personable. Dr Stolarski and his Physicians Assistants (not nurse practitioners) have always been patient with my many questions and never made me feel rushed.
Dr. Stolarski is the best orthopedist in the area, and I am very confident that my upcoming hip replacement will be successful. He patiently answered all my questions and provided the helpful information that I needed.
All around excellent
Dr. Stolarski replaced my right knee last December. After only 5 months, I am back to doing all of the things I like. My visit today was my “graduation” visit. Dr. Stolarski reviewed my X-Rays with me and answered all my questions. He is a very gracious person, and obviously very good at his craft. Would highly recommend him.
Dr Stolarski is always attentive, thorough and does a comprehensive examination to determine the cause of my pain. When the root cause is outside his area of expertise he always refers me to someone who is also at the top of their field
3 years ago Dr. Stolarski did a partial knee replacement on my left knee. It was only the medial compartment that was bad. The replacement was put in crooked and too big, obviously resulting in a "knock-knee" abnormality. When confronted his answer was that is was "in normal limits". I had my right knee done in Michigan several years prior, so I know how it should be. Straight! Thus, improper wear occurred on the lateral side of my left knee. I had bilateral hip replacement at same time and I am extremely pleased with results. Dr Stolarski is a great surgeon and a very pleasant person. I recommend him highly for joint replacement surgery.
